Temnichki whirlpool is a bathing place on Gradeshka River, in the vicinity of the church Holy Ascension of Jesus.

The visitors do not hesitate to enter in the cold waters, they can often be met here in summer time as they chill out and enjoy the splendid nature. In the past there was a strict rule in the bathing place for men and ladies section, and a special attraction were the acrobatic tricks from the rocks “first” to “seventh” that were performed in the men’s section. From the river’s springs to this place there is not any human factor for pollution, so the locals can often be seen drinking directly from the river’s water.
