The Saint – St. Nicholas Fresco
The picturesque nature of the Leshnica River has for long been attracting the students from the Mariovo villages to choose as a picnic location the place “The Saint”, named after the fresco of St. Nicholas, situated under the roof of one high rock.

No one exactly knows since when this fresco has existed, yet it is known that during the First World War there was a Russian military chapel in that place. Nowadays, although this fresco is to a certain extent destroyed, it is a witness for the existence of a past village Leshnica on that place.
